Cotton Incorporated introduces circularity-driven fabrics in new collections
CARY, N.C. (April 23, 2025) — The technical and creative minds at Cotton Incorporated reimagine ‘The Fabric of Our Lives’ with bold new concepts for the future of fashion and home products.
Imagine quilted jackets, blankets and throw pillows filled not with polyester but repurposed denim and cotton t-shirts.
Cotton Incorporated introduces inspiring new fabrics with thick nonwoven material from recycled pre- and post-consumer denim and post-industrial cotton t-shirt fabric. This unique approach reduces waste and promotes sustainable practices by using natural, microplastic-free materials. The inspirational and innovative fabric emphasizes the vast potential of cotton in shaping the future of the textile industry for home textiles and clothing.
“Our team’s collaborative efforts shine in fabric construction innovations,” says Yvonne Johnson, director of product development for Cotton Incorporated. “By utilizing recycled cotton materials and natural fabrics, we are pushing the boundaries and creating high-quality products with circularity and biodegradability in mind inspiring designers, brands and retailers.”
The following fabric, new for the 2025 collection, is distinctive for the combination:
- Use of natural fibers
- Knit and woven constructions
- Virgin cotton fabric plus recycled cotton batting

Cotton Incorporated’s FABRICAST™ collections help product developers, manufacturers and retailers to get the most from cotton. Four other quilted projects were completed at the end of 2024.
